Great shop, I found a somewhat uncommon Twilight Zone book and I got a Taylor Swift calendar. The shop was clean and orderly, very impressive sci fi section. Hope to be back.

Nice well stocked new and used Bookstore. Board Games galore, and Books of every topic under the sun, in well marked isles and shelves. Children’s area also with thousands of choices. Across the street from Kutztown Tavern. Free street parking.

Firefly Bookstore is and will always be my favorite bookstore. Ever since I was a little girl my Grandparents would always take us there every time we saw them to get a good book to read. It has evolved into a family tradition, from when the store first opened in 2012 to now—2023–its 11th year. Over the years it has just meant so much to me and I always have the best experience whenever I go there. The book selection in Firefly Bookstore has many genres, such as Young Adult, Children, Sci Fi, Horror, Suspense, Nonfiction, Romance, and so much more. They have something for everyone; I can tell you that. They also have a wide variety of board games and other similar things that non-readers will still enjoy. The environment created and the people there has a charming atmosphere. They have a wonderful reading area with comfortable chairs and beanbags near the kids area. The people there are also so welcoming and helpful. They will gladly help you find a book if need be. They also host many different events there. Author meets happen every once and a while in Firefly. I have only been to one, but it amazed the younger version of myself to meet a pretty successful author. There is another club that kids host there sometimes, known as the “Forbidden Books Club '' where Firefly provides books to kids that parents have had banned from public libraries and schools because they aren’t necessarily traditional. These topics mostly consist of one's about the LGBTQ+ community or climate change. It’s their way of spreading awareness and reading books, all at the same time. Overall Firefly Bookstore is definitely my favorite place to be, and I will never stop recommending it. Whomever goes there, I guarantee, you will not be disappointed!

Bookstore with many new and used books. I enjoyed looking through the board games both new and used. Such a good children's section too. The employees were very friendly and helpful. If you want a reusable bag instead of plastic there is a basket with take one or leave one cloth bags. So if you have extras bring them here for others to use.

The Firefly Bookstore is a very excellent bookstore located in Kutztown, PA! Thousands of titles by thousands of authors can be found here and the staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! As avid readers, my wife and I are always looking for new sources of the printed word; we both prefer holding an actual book while reading!

Firefly Bookstore is such a gem. I don't get there often due to location, but when I'm in the area, I always pop in and browse. The employees are lovely, welcoming to everyone, and have an excellent selection of new and used books. It's refreshing to see bookstores still having an impact in the community!

Really enjoyed this independent bookstore when visiting family. They have a great selection of both new and used books, and even had a fiction sale when we were there, so I got 20 percent off my book. The kids' books we got were all what they had hoped to find as they are working on reading different series, and my son was elated to find a niche Minecraft book on mods, with illustrations, and as far as merchandising goes with Minecraft, it was the best book I had seen so far on it. A great place to stock up on a new summer read.....and we will be back, when we are in the region again.

Firefly Bookstore is absolutely worth a visit. They have a wonderful selection of books for all ages, plus a really nice focus on local authors, which makes browsing feel extra special. It’s also a fantastic spot if you’re looking for a cute and unique gift beyond just books. The whole store has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to take your time and explore. Definitely one of those places you’ll want to keep coming back to!

Firefly is a great bookstore. They sell new and gently loved books. The atmosphere is cozy bookstore vibes. The staff is friendly and helpful. I always make it a point to stop in when I’m down visiting family!
